This morning Canon noticed an "owie" on my shoulder...
Canon: Mommy's owie?
Me: Yes, baby. Mommy has an owie.
Canon: (leans over and kisses my shoulder) That feel better?
Seriously, cutest kid ever!

Happy 2nd Birthday, Canon!
Canon,
We love you so much and thank God daily for choosing us to be your parents. You are turning into such an amazing little boy and I love to watch the new things that you do every day. I know that God has BIG plans for you.
You are such a happy little boy and bring a smile to the face of every person you meet. You are so smart and are always making us laugh. You are loved by so many people. It is amazing that someone so small and young can touch so many lives, but you have!
Your daddy and I love you more than you can ever imagine, Do-dah!
Love,
Mommy

Boy, Do I Have A Lot To Post!
So, my last post was in July. It is now October. Fail! Oh, well. I have plenty of excuses, so I will share them now.
On August 11th, we found out that we are expecting baby Stepp #2! We are so excited. The baby is due on April 27th. I have had two appointments already and the baby is looking healthy so far. We had our first ultrasound on September 2 and got to see the bean's heartbeat. Such a beautiful thing to watch. I also went yesterday and the heartbeat was sitting around 160. Fast! Canon always stayed between 130-145.
I took an Intelligender test this morning. This is a test you can purchase at Walgreens or CVS and is supposed to be able to tell you the gender of your baby. Sounded like fun to me! Tell me what you think...

I also started taking care of two of my friends' little ones during the week. I have one sweet little boy every day and I have a sweet little girl two half days a week. This started around August 17th. Boy does that ever keep me busy! They are only a month apart, so when I have both of them I feel like I have twins. Good practice I guess for Canon and me. Canon does really well with the babies. I know he is going to make a great big brother.
Now onto my precious little man. I don't understand how it is possible for me to love that kid more and more each day. He is absolutely the light of my life and I cannot believe how lucky I am to be his mommy. He is such a good little boy. People are constantly telling me how well behaved he is. He is talking so much now! Complete sentences! He just amazes me everyday at the things he does.
I love to ask Canon about the new baby. If you ask him what he is going to be, he will reply, "Big, big brother." He will also tell you that the baby is in mommy's tummy. He loves to kiss my belly and tell the baby hi. Melts my heart.
Little man will be 2 next Tuesday. I cannot believe how quickly time goes by with a little one. Every day he brings me joy and I am so thankful that he is a part of our lives. And now I'm going to move on to pictures of him before I start blubbering....
The only almost 2 year old I know that will sit through and ENTIRE baseball game. He loves the Rangers! (with Mimi and Nonnie)
Look at that face!

So it's only been a month...
*WARNING- AN OBSCENE AMOUNT OF PICTURES AHEAD*
Sorry! I have so much to post and have been dreading downloading all the pictures. :)
We had SO much fun on our cruise! We left on June 20th and came back on the 27th. We spent several days at sea (which I loved) and we also visited St. Maarten, San Juan, and Labadee, Haiti (which is Royal Caribbean's private beach).
Canon loved the trip. He was treated like a celebrity every where we went. Many of the dining room staff knew Canon and that he would want chocolate milk first thing in the morning and with dinner. They were so accommodating! They also had four play dates every day for kids his age. They would pull out toys and books for them to play with. He really enjoyed getting to play with new toys everyday. He also loved climbing the stairs, running down the halls, giving high fives and fist bumps at dinner, dancing to all the music, the ice cream,...
We also celebrated my grandparents' 50th anniversary and my parents' 30th anniversary. I am so proud of them! Those are numbers rarely seen nowadays. Way to go!
Canon has been doing and saying so much lately. He is now 21 months and has definitely hit the "twos." He keeps me laughing (and sometimes crying) daily. He is such a joy and I treasure the time I get to spend with him.
Okay, and what you have all been waiting for: Cruise Pictures! These are in no particular order, because I do not have 3 hours to spend sorting. :) I have over 600 hundred pictures, so I am going to try to limit this to my favorites. Enjoy!
And... these are MUST watch. My two favorite videos from the cruise.

Hip-hip-hip Hippopotamus!
Just wanted to share a couple of cute videos and one picture. Little man has been saying so much more lately and has learned to help Mommy and Daddy sing. It is too cute. This video is from before nap time today. He usually does the hand motions and is very interested when Daddy helps to sing, but of course, Daddy is at work today. But seriously, how cute is this?
The next video is of Canon giggling during a lunchtime. He had finished his Spaghetti-o's and was filthy! He enjoyed me playing peek-a-boo around the corner. (Please excuse the step-stool in the way. This was taken right after my surgery and I wansn't allowed to lift Canon. He had to get into his chair by himself, with a little assistance from Mommy.) That giggle is priceless!
And lastly, Canon sleeping in his big boy bed. He sure loves his puppy and his big, big cars! Isn't that sweet?
Enjoy your week! T- minus 6 days till cruise! Yay!

Just Another Funny Canon Story
Tonight we got home from church around 8:30. This is little man's usual bedtime. When we got home, we gave him so "chocate mok" (chocolate milk) and started getting him ready for bed. So I ask him (not really expecting an answer back), "Canon, guess what time it is?" And his response (with arms raised in excitement), "Movie time!" Where does he get this stuff?
Oh, and to those who were thinking after watching the video from the last pos, "Why would you let him talk to you like that?", I usually don't. It was just too funny to not film. :)
